In Dubai you will experience a hot desert climate. From May to early October it's summer in Dubai and temperatures rise above 40 degrees Celsius (104°F). The months of April and October are usually the transition months towards the next season.


Winter is the best time to visit making Dubai a very popular winter sun destination with temperatures that are still around 25 degrees Celsius (77° Fahrenheit) during the coldest months. At night in winter the temperature drops to about 15 degrees Celsius (59°F). 


During the months of January and February you are most likely to experience good weather with pleasant average temperatures that fall between 20 degrees Celsius (68°F) and 26 degrees Celsius (79°F).

Dubai Tourism Dirham Fee: A mandatory Fee applies and is to be paid by the guest directly at the Hotel/Resort. The following fees are applicable per bedroom per night- 20 AED for 5-star hotel/Deluxe hotel apartment, 15 AED: 4-star hotel/Superior hotel apartment, 10 AED for 3 and 2-star hotel/Standard hotel apartment and 7 AED for 1-star hotel/budget hotel apartment.

Alcohol: Minimum drinking age is 21. Permitted in public places, ie restaurants, hotels, bars. 

Tipping: Most restaurants will include taxes and a service charge on the bill. However, most people in Dubai also leave a small tip for the staff. The usual amount is between 10-15%, depending on how good you feel the service was.
